About Colorado Springs

Home of Pikes Peak & Team USA

At 14,115 feet tall, you can't miss the stunning backdrop of Colorado Springs - Pikes Peak. This majestic mountain was the inspiration of the line "purple mountain majesty" in Kathy Lee Bates' poem that would later become the song "America the Beautiful".

Colorado Springs is also home to the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and 25 National Governing Bodies of Sport. As a training ground for some of the world's best athletes, you may just run into an Olympic medalist while you're out exploring.
